Having excelled as a college basketball player at Old Dominion University, Freddie's passion for the game naturally transitioned into coaching. Since 2003, he has been coaching high school basketball, where he has been instrumental in the development and success of countless athletes. In recognition of his exceptional coaching abilities, Freddie was honored with the prestigious 2023 CIF Model Coach of the Year award, a testament to his positive influence and leadership in the sports community.
